A very kind and loving woman named Wendy rescued Mimi from the street. Wendy is low-income, has no car and no credit. She said Mimi's belly was huge and though she is not spayed yet, she knew she was not pregnant. Wendy was in tears on the phone begging for help! So I arranged a vet visit for Mimi and paid for it myself to see what was wrong. I didn't want Mimi to suffer and Wendy didn't have other options.

The vet took this x-ray and found that her belly is full of pus. Mimi has Pyometra which is a very serious infection of her uterus. This is life-threatening and without surgery sweet Mimi will die. The good news is that once she has the surgery, Mimi should make a complete recovery!

The vet quoted $2,641.42 for the x-rays, blood work, pyometra surgery and 24 hours of hospitalization. I don't know if she will need longer hospitalization but I am starting with this.

I asked Wendy to apply for Care Credit and Scratch Pay, but she was declined by both.

I have taken this on to help Mimi BUT I NEED YOUR HELP.
