This past week, New Hyde Park Memorial High School's Class of '85 lost one of our own. Jennifer Weber was found deceased in her home on Sunday, September 19, 2021. She died peacefully, with her dogs, her "boys," at her side.

Jenn had a great sense of humor and never shied away from saying how she felt. How many of us have opened Facebook and laughed out loud at her bawdy posts? She also had a big heart. She was a good listener, and would often "check in" with friends to make sure they were okay.

Jenn had a rough few years under her belt. Her parents passed years ago. Her brother lived out of state. She recently lost her boyfriend Sean to an accident, and had to move. Jenn was finding it hard to make ends meet. She would often forgo her own health and happiness to make sure her dogs and those she loved were taken care of. Her "family" was her friends.

We are asking for a donation, however much you can give, to help give Jennifer a funeral and a small viewing and service. She will be remembered at Park Funeral Chapels in Garden City Park, date to be announced. Anything we receive in excess of Jenn's funeral costs will be donated to programs benefitting the students of New Hyde Park Memorial High School, and other charities close to Jenn's heart.
