Hi everyone

my name is Sarah Salinas

the daughter of Sergio Z. Salinas

Just a few days ago our father passed away. Although we don’t have a lot of information on the matter, we just wanted to be sure my dad is laid to rest respectfully . This process has been hard, just as anyone has felt when losing a loved one. Writing this, I am reminded of childhood memories, stories we overheard, and family gatherings we attended.

I’m reminded of his laugh and big hugs. His willingness to help others and love for singing songs to pass time. He was so quick to make jokes and lighten up a room with laughter .

The one thing I remembered the most about dad was when he was passionate about something his voice would choke and he'd smile with joy in his eyes.

Just like the rest of my family, his children, friends and even strangers; I’m going to miss him. I'm going to miss his singing and his laugh, but most importantly I am going to miss his presence and his ability to make you feel like everything was going to be alright.

Sergio Zepeda Salinas will live forever in our hearts until we meet again. We love you so much
