My good friends Mike & Jen Seeley are going through a difficult time. Mike recently had a very serious accident and hit is head (more details below). There will be a very long road to recovery ahead and the medical costs have started building up. Jen, his wife of 18 years will be her doing best to hold things together. On top of the medical costs, Mike was renovating their home, doing most if not all the work himself. That work is unfinished and Jen will need to hire outside contractors to finish the work. They need our help to alleviate the financial stress during this difficult time. The family, including their 13 year old son, needs to focus on getting Mike better. "For those that don't know, Tuesday night, Wednesday morning Mike slipped getting out of bed and hit his head on the corner of the closet door jam. On Thursday, his mom was over. She was in the kitchen and heard a noise and Mike had a seizure and was coughing up blood. She called 911. After hours in the ER, they did a CAT scan after he had another seizure. CAT scan showed a large subdural hematoma and they had to do emergency surgery to drain the blood. The prognosis was not good, but he made it through surgery and he was removed off the ventilator yesterday morning. Today, he is awake and drinking water. He still has a very long road ahead."
