Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,
It is with great sadness, we announce the loss of Joe Mauro at the young age of twenty. He was a wonderful and loving son, brother, and friend to so many.
Joe was a huge part of the ER community. During his high school years, he was a member of both sectional-winning soccer and tennis teams. The memories shared between the boys on those teams were and continue to be the highlights of their high school years, and so many of those memories circle back to our beloved, "Big Joe." Every time he showed up to a classroom, a practice, or an event, he put a smile on all of his friends and teammates faces. Both Coach Domm and Coach Mandara enjoyed Joe's great attitude and tremendous work and dedication to the team. He had an amazing soul and never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. This loss has been devastating to everyone that has loved Joe, but most importantly his family.
Joe's family is devastated and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We all want to give Joe the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
With love,
