Steve moved from Idaho to Arizona in October 2020. He was driving truck across the country when he began feeling unwell in June 2022. Unfortunately, in July Steve was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), one of the most aggressive forms of cancer. Steve was forced to leave his job and immediately begin treatment. For the last 6 months, Steve has been in and out of the hospital and Arizona Cancer Center, undergoing chemotherapy. The treatment has been tough, but successful. Currently the cancer appears to be in remission, and Steve remains optimistic and thankful for the care he is receiving. The next step will be for Steve to receive a Stem Cell transplant, which should happen in February and will help prevent the Leukemia from recurring. It is expected to be at least 6 months to a year before Steve can return to work and the job he loves. Any donations will go toward helping pay his expenses, and would be so appreciated. Steve is feeling blessed for the care and success of his treatment thus far, and is hopeful for what lies ahead in 2023, and beyond.
