Hi everyone,

I’m Sue, and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of Shirley’s family to support her during a very challenging time.

Recently Shirley became unwell and tests have revealed that she has some serious heart issues.

She is currently on sick leave from work and awaiting further tests and consultations with specialists.

As many of you know Shirley has a dog, Prince.

Right now she can't look after him and give him the attention and exercise he needs.

He's in a pet park where he is well cared for but at a cost of €22.50 per day.

She is on specialised medication which is expensive.

Taxi fares to and from appointments are also an added expense.

We are hopeful that all her issues can be sorted here in Portugal but if not she may need to travel to the UK or elsewhere.

Any contribution-no matter how small-will go directly towards medical bills, transport and Prince's care.

We are asking for your help to make this chapter in Shirley's life as comfortable as possible and stress free.
