Hi, my name is Prosper and I'm requesting for urgent funds for my sister Joan's children's school fees.

It's with a very broken heart that I have had to set up this gofundme page.

This is due to the fact that my precious sister, Joan, was kidnapped at gunpoint from her home by plain-clothes assailants on Friday the 29th of August 2025!

Very sadly, her whereabouts are still unknown!

All this extremely traumatising scenario unfortunately unfolded in front of and was witnessed by her 4 very young children.

They're inconsolable, given that their Dad died in 2019.

As a result of the above, Joan has been acting as both their Mum and Dad by providing for/supporting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs as much as she possibly could!

Currently, the 4 children are with my Mum. Because my Mum's health is frail, and she's extremely distraught because of her missing daughter [who is also her primary carer], my plea is for a kind donation from you to help alleviate some of their suffering please.

Now that Joan is sadly still missing and yet the new school term in Uganda begins on Monday the 15th of September 2025, there's an urgent need to raise at least £900 to be able to cater for school fees for all the 4 children as well as the school requirements like uniforms, shoes, bags, etc and pay for their transportation to and from school daily, for the youngest 3.

[ The oldest one, a 13 year old, is in boarding school and pays the highest amount of fees - an equivalent of roughly £350 a term, as well as being the one with the most school requirements.]

Because they live in Uganda where education is unfortunately not free, and neither is there any other government support for parents/carers relating to raising their children, that's why I am humbly requesting you to donate £5, more or any other amount possible towards this urgent cause, please.

We trust GOD for Joan's swift/safe return but also realistically do not know when that will be!

In the meantime, we as the tentative carers are trying to ensure that Joan's children have a 'normal' life, as much as possible so that they do not despair even more, because of missing out on school.
