My name is Michelle and I rescued Buster, a FIV positive boy from the streets Of Werribee Victoria.
After countless hours gaining his trust over a 3 month period, I managed to capture him in April 2023.
I've been on a journey to nurse him back to health and he’s been doing well.
Less than 2 weeks ago he finally got his specialist eye surgery for bilateral entropy.
Since then he hasn’t been well and was admitted to his local vet. After a couple of days he finally started eating and was ready to come home..
Then he unexpectedly suffered a traumatic setback in the clinic during a urine test. His bladder was so full from fluids and no catheter that the entire contents escaped into his abdomen which required emergency surgery.
He has continued to deteriorate ever since and is now at one of the best emergency vets in Melbourne.
Buster's story is one of courage and resilience.
Getting the best care comes at a cost and our hero's medicals bills are too much for one person to fund.
Your support can make a difference.
Let's rally together for Buster's comeback!
