In October my sister and her family (Igor, Diana Samoylenko) received some heavy news. Their four-year-old daughter Roxanne has been diagnosed with rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer that was found in her leg. Ever since finding out this heavy news, Roxanne already had to forgo two different surgeries. Thankfully, the doctors were able to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, this type of cancer is very aggressive and spreads very quickly. The doctors found cancer in some of her cells therefore Roxanne will have to go through chemotherapy for a year and a half. For the past month, Igor and Diana have been having to drive down to Seattle Children’s hospital about 2-3 times per week. This has taken a significant impact on their lives emotionally and also financially. We have created this page to help them through this difficult time. If you have it in your heart to help out financially, it would mean a lot to Igor and Diana. Please continue to pray for this family as they desperately need it at this time.
