The family are absolutely blow away by the kindness and generosity of all of those that have donated. I am trying to help raise funds for the family of Spencer Deane.

Spencer died yesterday (23-04-2023) from complications following a double lung transplant at the Royal Papworth Hospital.

Spencer had been diagnosed with a rare lung disease several years previously which caused rapid deterioration in his respiratory system requiring him to have a double lung transplant. Initially, the operation seemed a success, but following infection and further rejection, even after stents were fitted to try and resolve the issue, he slipped further and further into decline until the family were informed their is nothing more the dr’s could do for him. The decision was then made to terminate the ventilator and be passed away peacefully.

Spencer leaves behind his wife and 12-year-old daughter at home and other adult children.

This is Spencer. He was always willing to help myself and other people, he was a friend... He unfortunately lost his life way to early.

Spencer was just a true legend, a guy that would always go out of his way to help everybody!! He had a great sense of humour and a strong sense of family, if you were lucky to get into it, you were welcomed for life.

Please consider donating to help out his wife and 12 year old daughter who have been left with nothing due to the long period of his ilness and suffering.
