Please donate to help my six years old daughter Victoria.

My name is Catia Lopes, from Portugal, and I am married to Arun from the Fiji Islands. My husband and I are fundraising for my daughter Victoria's medical insurance.

Victoria is 6 years old, and was diagnosed with a disorder called “infantile Tay-Sachs”, at 1 year 3 months.

Tay-Sachs is a rare genetic, neurodegenerative disorder, that gives an approximate life-span of up to 6 years. In the past 6 years, Victoria’s physical and mental condition plunged drastically, whereby she lost her eyesight, is fed through a feeding tube, has an advanced brain damage, multiple seizures and is completely bed ridden.

Over the past 5 years, my husband and I have managed to personally cater for Victoria’s medical insurance, together with other associated expenses. The current medical insurance annual renewal stands at around 20,000 euros, making it a challenge to cater for.
