Hi my name is Helen and I am trying to raise money for my parents. My father is current in hospital with a life threatening brain bleed. He has had five brain surgeries in the last two months. He has just returned to HDU due to an infection in his brain which is very serious and could end his life. My elderly mother has just been scammed out of £13,000 by a nasty criminal who targeted her and pretended to be helping her with bank fraud then emptied her bank account. I am beside myself, I don’t know what to do but please if you can find it in your heart to help us, to make me see that the world can be a good place, that would mean a great deal. I just want to ease my poor mother’s mind and try to replace some of the stolen money.

My mother is a vulnerable elderly woman and her life has been turned upside down by my father’s hospitalisation. We spend hours and hours at his hospital bed hoping for some progress. At the moment we are just going round in circles. My mom is so sick with worry these scammers prayed on that and my mother also cares for her vulnerable disabled sister and her money was also amongst the stolen money so I wish to be able to replace that for her.

Please keep my Dad in your thoughts. He is such a good man. He would turn up at my house and trim my hedges without being asked and he would give pocket money to all his grandkids. We just want him back.
