My daughter is going to The Ohio State. The apartment that she was living in for the last five months had a faulty main water line, and it ruptured in the ceiling above her apartment. I don’t have the videos to post the major picture she has, but she was under about a foot and a half of water when it started. They opened the doors, and things in the water gushed out to the people below. It soaked through and damaged property on the bottom floor as well. She’s really struggling right now. This was not supposed to happen. She has no apartment, she has no money, and she hasn’t been able to work this week. Her schooling is taking a back burner because of this, and we’re trying to find her the means to get a new place to live. The apartment complex has currently placed my daughter in a hotel for the last few days, and they will be moving her to another hotel and then back to another hotel. She needs stability. She has an ESA dog also, and they need a place that feels safe. I’m just trying to raise enough money to be able to put a deposit on a new apartment for her so that she can get all her belongings back and feel safe again. I hate making these GoFundMe campaigns. I don’t want to ever sound needy, but sometimes situations happen, and we have to reach out and ask for help. That’s all I’m doing—asking to help a girl who is trying so hard to succeed and she works so hard, she really does. I just wanna see her not give up. Thank you.
