My name is Thomas White, and I am here to ask for help. Michelle King, the mother of my son, has begun the fight of her life. Before the 2025 holidays, it was found that Michelle had a lump in her breast. Through many tests and screens, it was found that she has Stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma, cancer in one breast which has moved to her armpit and lymph nodes. Through further testing, it was found she has "the cancer gene" therefore along with chemo and radiation, she will also have a double mastectomy. Her fight has just begun, and with the love and support of her family and mine, we hope to face this head on. As some of you may know, some treatments require funds. These can cause a financial hardship on a already difficult time. As I, my family, and her family, attempt to help cover the costs, along with her now off work with minimal income, travelling from Brechin, Ontario to Newmarket, Ontario for treatment can be costly. General bills, rent and such still apply, and as we the family attempt to help with all we can, we are asking for support from anyone willing and able to.
