Hi, my name is Valentina, and I'm reaching out for help to save a puppy named Selem. Many of you know that I work as a flight attendant, and on my recent trip to Bali, I witnessed something that has stayed with me ever since.

While in Nusa Dua, I saw a young dog, Selem, hit by a motorbike. His injuries were severe, and he is now dragging his back legs, unable to walk. In his pain, he won’t let anyone get close to him, but I could see his suffering and knew I had to do something to help.

A kind-hearted woman who works at Serene Spa in Bali had been looking after him. She even named him Selem. Unfortunately, I had to leave Bali before I could take more action, but I couldn’t get Selem out of my mind. I knew I needed to do everything I could to help.

After reaching out to numerous animal rescue organizations in Bali, I was fortunate to get a response from Rhonda Lepsch, who runs Jet Set Petz. Rhonda took Selem to Central Vet in Bali, where he was examined and diagnosed with a spinal injury that requires urgent surgery. Without this surgery, Selem will not survive, and he will be euthanized. The surgery, along with the medical care afterward, will cost around 3000 AUD.

I am asking for your help to raise the funds needed to give Selem a chance at life. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving this sweet puppy the care he desperately needs.
