Hello, My name is Michael. The last few weeks have been awful for me. I had a relationship collapse, a mental breakdown, lost my self-employment status, overdosed, spent time in the hospital, and then became homeless, living rough in my car. I haven't been able to see my daughter. It's been a nightmare.

But now, after a few weeks of living out of a box in an intense homeless shelter, where my independence was taken away, I've found the strength to rebuild myself.

I'm moving into a modest flat on June 3rd. I can now see my daughter on a regular basis, and I am receiving help and support, but I have drained my money and am temporarily unemployed as a result of my predicament.

While I will be well, making the transition back to independence is financially difficult for me. I sincerely request assistance in covering my moving expenses as well as the one-time purchase of necessities such as a washing machine, a bed, a sofa bed for my daughter to stay with me, a kettle, curtains, curtain rods, bedsheets, and pillows. The list feels overwhelmingly vast.
