Hello friends, it’s Jayne and I’m reaching out and appealing to your kindness and support to help make my Thailand dream come true. But first, let me give you some background on why I’m asking for help and why I’m going there.
6 years ago when I started going through divorce I also started to experience extreme mental health issues. During this time the illness just became worse and the doctors couldn’t control or diagnose it. Then we were in lock down during the pandemic and trying to get help outside of the doctors surgery felt impossible. My health and life had hit rock bottom. I was going through a challenging divorce whilst I could barely sit in a room with a ticking clock, due to the sensory overload that I was experiencing. There were times when I questioned my point of being here to exist in this way. I couldn’t see a way out! I had become disabled by the condition due to how it had affected my body physically. But my inner strength would not give up, I was determined to recover as I knew there was a better life ahead of me…a dream, a vision I had for my life that I would not let go of……I would not give up for my son nor for my myself. So I kept pushing for help with the support of a very kind person in the NHS and eventually I got to see a specialist who could review my condition and was able to give it a diagnosis. I was told I had a Functional Neurological Disorder and I was told there was no cure but, over time my symptoms could/would improve, but there was no guarantee by how much. So for the last 5 years I have been pushing myself to recover, to get my life back, even though it’s been a tough road and for the majority of those I have lived the life of a hermit (apart from my son and my parents).
What has really helped me progress so much over the last year is the personal development activity I’ve been doing to improve myself. I’ve experienced so much joy learning and expanding mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically. Last year I was selected to go to a World Class Achievers Retreat in Thailand for March 2025, where the work goes deeper and we can have deeper experiences for change and bigger breakthroughs for our lives. Only a small number are selected every year, and I was one of those lucky few. I have been saving all year to pay for the admission ticket to attend, but sadly I do not have the money for the flight and accommodation and have tried every way to access this but it has led me here. I would not be asking unless I was desperate for your help. I am grateful for however much you can donate. Sending you so much love, hugs and gratitude ❤️❤️❤️
