Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter Makayla, who is facing one of the hardest moments of her life. At just 22 weeks pregnant, her water broke unexpectedly, and she is 4 centimeters dilated. She has been admitted to the hospital and will have to remain there until she delivers, which could be weeks away. Right now, every single day matters for her and her baby’s health. The road ahead is filled with uncertainty, and the outcome is unknown—but Makayla is staying strong and fighting for her little one.

This situation has turned her world upside down. We are all very worried for her and the baby. She cannot leave the hospital, her boyfriend Jake drives over an hour every day to be by her side, and they’re also trying to care for their dogs at home while preparing to close on their very first house. The emotional weight is already so heavy, and the financial burden on top of it all is overwhelming.
