Hello I am Martha Lucia Barfield; I am looking for an opportunity to LIVE AND TO

CATCH A MIRACLE! (Luke 17: 11-14)

 

Family, friends and the children, of the most high God. The Lord says in his word in Ecclesiastes that there is a time for everything, and for US this is not easy! But, this is the time where we need your prayers, help and support.

And the Lord gives you back according to his riches in Glory.

 

When I was 20 years old, I had a thyroidectomy of my left side. Then 35 years later they found, a nodule in my thyroid, on the right side. After all the tests had been done, they found that in my first operation the doctor paralyzed my left vocal cords, also that the tumor is cancerous has grown around my carotid artery, and is pushing my trachea to the side and metastasized to the lungs and is blocking my airway. I was scheduled to have surgery on march 19th, but the doctor called me the 17, after the last CT NECK SCAN W IV CONTRAST, and said he was not going to perform the surgery, because the tumorous cancer is very aggressive and it has grown down the esophagus, that he would do more damage to me, that he has to remove completely my vocal box and perform a permanent tracheotomy; and that he recommends immunotherapy.

 

On mi appointment with the oncologist, he decided that he is not going to do that either, and he recommended that I take a pill; that has very devastating side effects, like heart failure, brain damage, very aggressive organ damage and etc. He told me that it was the only option I have.

 

As a believer the Lord says in his word that he always provides an open door for us.

 

I am asking the Lord to give me another opportunity. I want to live to see my grandchildren. AND most of all I want to serve HIM.

 

I found an alternative treatment that is non-invasive, that can provide me a better chance for quality of life, that can reduce the size of the tumor and help me to improve my health, and after that, eventually the tumor can be removed. The hospital is: OASIS OF HOPE.

 

But I need to raise at least $50.000.00 dollars.

Here is where I need your help! Everything you can do to support me would be a great blessing for my family and me. Prayers are the most important because the Lord stands up in the midst of his people, when we gather together as one. I believe that my God is the same; yesterday, today and forever more. He is God of miracles, signs and wonders.

Familia, amigos, y los hijos del Rey! El Señor dice en Eclesiastes hay tiempo para todo, para mi familia y para mi esto no es fácil; es un tiempo en el que necesitamos de sus oraciones, su ayuda, y todo su apoyo.

 

A mis veinte años me hicieron una tiroidectomia izquierda . Treinta y cinco años después encuentran un nódulo, al lado derecho de mi tiroides. Después de realizar todas las pruebas encuentran que ,en la primera intervención quirúrgica paralizaron mis cuerdas vocales del lado izquierdo, que el tumor es canceroso, que ha crecido alrededor de la arteria carótida empujando la tráquea hacia un lado y ya hizo metástasis en los pulmones. La cirugía estaba programada para el 19 de marzo pero el día 17 me llamo el cirujano después de revisar el ultimo CT y me dijo que no iba a realizar la cirugía porque el cancer es muy agresivo , el tumor ha crecido hacia el esófago obstruyendo las vías respiratorias y que tendría que remover toda la caja vocal y realizar una traqueotomia permanente, que recomendaba inmunoterapia. Sin embargo, en la cita con el oncólogo, este dijo que no me iba a hacer la inmunoterapia y me recomendó tomar una medicina que tiene efectos secundarios devastadores y que era la única opción que tengo.

 

Le he pedido a Dios que me de otra oportunidad de vivir porque quiero llegar a conocer a mis nietos, pero sobre todo porque quiero servirle a EL!

 

Yo creo que Dios siempre tiene una puerta abierta. Encontré un tratamiento alternativo no invasivo, que puede darme calidad de vida, reducir el tamaño del tumor y mejorar mi salud para poder extirpar el tumor eventualmente. El hospital se llama OASIS DE ESPERANZA, pero necesito recaudar $50,000.00 dólares.

 

Mi seguro no cubre esos gastos, y mi familia tampoco cuenta con esa cantidad, por ello acudo a ustedes. Necesito su ayuda, con lo que pueda apoyarme sera una gran bendición; las oraciones también son muy importantes, porque Dios se manifiesta cuando oramos en su nombre. El es el mismo ayer, hoy y siempre!
