Plea for humanitarian aid

NIka is a 4-year old girl from Macedonia diagnosed with BETA THALASSEMIA MAJOR. Her condition is very serious as she needs constant blood transfusions. From this condition she have multiple side effects like enlargement of the spleen and liver. The only solution for this disease is transplantation of stem cells from bone marrow from unrelated donor. They have started preparations for it at Yeditepe Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, but the transplantation cannot begin until an additional Vesicoureteral reflux operation is performed. An additional 46000 EUR is needed for this operation which they as parents are not able to financially support. Her parents have taken out multiple loans and unfortunately are unable to receive any financial support from any other source. That’s why we are reaching out for your financial support on this situation, so NIka can continue her childhood with her twin brother and not be separated from him due to all her medical appointments and treatments.
