Hi, my name is Leigh David. I am raising funds for myself. In the past two years, circumstances have converged with terrible affect on my finances. I need help to avoid being homeless!

To summarize my misfortune, I have COPD making it difficult to breathe and get around. I have breast cancer which eventually will require surgery but is currently controlled with medication. Between these medical issues and my age of 75 years, I I tire easily and have trouble focusing or concentrating in order to work. Thus, my finances are limited to Social Security.

I was getting by with no difficulty until I was required to move from my apartment and incurred moving expenses for that move one year ago. Using my charge cards to take care of the slack resulted in the minimum payments being too steep to cover. I also found that the inflation we are experiencing makes it difficult for me to afford food or transportation. My rent in my current apartment has been raised by over $100/month, and utilities have also increased. So I need to move again as my current apartment has elected not to renew my lease.

Now I am faced with the necessity to move soon and I need funds for the deposit and rent on a new apartment, along with moving expenses which run over $1,000. I need funds for transportation to look at those places that are available for me to move to. I have to lower my credit card debt by around $2000 to continue to pay it down and have funds left in my budget for necessities like food, medications, etc.

I estimate that I need approximately $6,500 to negotiate this move and come out stable for the future.

I hate being in this situation and humbly ask for any assistance you can lend me to get out of this predicament of debts hanging over my head. Thank you in advance for any help you can lend me and thank you for patiently reading my description of my financial woes.
