We want to share something close to our hearts that happened to our cousin. In January 2022, he was assaulted while out for a walk near his home. He was left unconscious overnight until he was found the following morning by a Good Samaritan.

The assault left him with a traumatic brain injury and a stroke that affected his ability to walk, talk, and use his right side. Throughout all this, he's been facing it head-on and making miraculous progress through intense rehab programs. However, the road to full recovery is a long one.

Recently, we found out about a promising new treatment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), that could really help his recovery. HBOT is a non-invasive treatment that uses 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber to increase the amount of oxygen delivered to bones and soft tissues, enhancing the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria and viruses, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and new tissue. However, the treatment is not covered by insurance, and each session costs $400 out of pocket for a total of 80 sessions.

He has always been a very loving and kind hearted individual who enjoys making his friends and family laugh, as well as someone who is always willing to lend a helping hand. Now he needs a helping hand. Please think about contributing if you can. Your generosity means the world to us and to him.
