As the world has just learned, Adam Smyth was one of the victims of the Bondi shooting.

We are writing as close family friends and Montessori alumni of Adam’s 4 children including Harry (26), Matilda (21), and Angus (17) .

Adam’s children are shocked and devastated by their Dad’s violent, sudden, and senseless death, and need help, support and privacy to navigate these next weeks, months, and indeed years ahead.

The Montessori community are wrapping their arms around Adam’s children and helping with short term accommodation and necessities whilst they relocate to Sydney from Melbourne to farewell their father and deal with necessary arrangements.

The family is deeply grateful for the assistance provided so far.

However, more help is needed, and we know that generous Australians and indeed people worldwide want to help in any way that they can – all funds will go directly to his wonderful children to support them during this time of immense grief and loss.

Adam’s children are profoundly grateful for any assistance that can be provided .
