Hi, my name is Jon.

For the past 3-4 years, I have been working closely with Bali Bully Rescue here in Bali where dogs are commonly thrown away, abused, beaten, caged for many many years and even for their full life slowly going insane. But thanks to the wonderful Karen who owns the dog sanctuary, she has managed to save so many dogs over the years, but she really struggles with donations coming in so frequently and she can only rescue dogs if she knows she can pay the high bills for its recovery and safety. A dog rescue requires so much work 24/7 to ensure the dogs recover fully, including Vet bills, medication, food, staff, rent and many more large payments.

I got to go and see the doggy care home for the first time yesterday and it was wonderful to see how committed all the staff are and that the dogs are receiving 110% 24 hour care. But all these dogs are injured, suffering, traumatised and they all need either surgery, medication, personal care and other high bills especially with Vet care. And this is only the dogs that are currently being taken care of. There will be many many more dogs to still find and rescue down the road but it is very difficult for Karen to do all this with the amount of donations that comes to the rescue.

There has been many times i have stepped in to help with the bills as often the Vet refuses to help unless the previous debt has been cleared, so i know first hand of the struggles Karen goes through to be able to secure these beautiful dogs, free them from their tormented, sad and painful existence and bring them to a beautiful new home where they will be taken care of until adoption and sometimes for the rest of their lives.
