My name is Valentine Mungofa, 20 years of age. I live in Mhondoro Ngezi, a rural setup in Zimbabwe.

I have a son, Kayden Chidamajaya 14 months of age, who is also a biological son to musician Ezbornwage Chidamajaya, also known as Hulengende.

I am kindly seeking financial assistance, as my son has an eye condition that requires urgent medical examination and possible specialist treatment. The condition needs proper assessment at a medical facility equipped to determine the extent of the problem and recommend intervention. Such care comes at a cost — consultation fees, specialist tests, possible procedures, transport, and follow-up appointments.

I am doing everything I can, as his mother.

I am also an aspiring musician, and have tried to sustain myself and my child independently, but raising a child alone, especially one with medical needs, is overwhelming. The financial burden is heavy, and the urgency is real.

Kayden did not choose the circumstances of his current eye condition. He deserves clear vision, a healthy childhood, and a fair start in life, without his vision being affected more in the long run.

I am therefore appealing to well-wishers, members of the public, friends, the music community, and anyone with a compassionate heart to assist with donations toward Kayden’s medical care.
