Hi, my name is Viviane and I am fundraising for my friend, Adriana Fialova. She was operated on and her biopsies showed that she has Stage 3 Endometrial Cancer! Her infusion of chemotherapy has now caused her to lose her hair, which has been very depressing for her... her good friend Petr Banks has just shaved her head in the photo above; and her son Tomas has had his hair shaved in sympathy. But you will see that Adriana is smiling bravely -- as you know, she is a courageous fighter!

She will have to endure chemo for months, along with heavy radiation. During this time, she will be ill and weak, and we are not sure if she will be able to go back to her work of cleaning houses or not.

Unfortunately, Adriana is the only wage earner for her family, and they were already living paycheck to paycheck before her cancer diagnosis. She has no savings and the medical insurance leaves her responsible for 40% of the medical bills. Between the CT scans and the extremely high cost for chemo, she already owes bills in the tens of thousands, which she just does not have the money to pay.
