Help Mohammed Shaheen return to university and fulfill his dreams!

Hello. My name is Leo and I am an artist from London. I supporting Mohammed and his family in raising money and now after discussions with Mohammed we are launching this new fundraiser. please support in any way you feel you can and spread the word. Post it on your stories, share it with your friends. But first I will let Mohammed explain the intentions in his ow words:

My name is Mohammed Shaheen, I live in Gaza and I am a third-year Software Engineering student at the Islamic University of Gaza. I have two years left to finish my degree, and my greatest hope is to return to university and complete what I started.

I am asking for support so I can pay my overdue university fees, continue my studies, cover basic tools I need to learn, and support my younger brothers educational needs.

For the past two years, my education has been brutally frozen by the war.

Our families focus has been completely on our collective survival, finding food, water and a safe, secure, and dry place to sleep.

With the extreme cost of living and the inability to pay university fees, continuing my studies became inpossible. But through all this hardship I have not let go of my dreams.

I study Software Engineering because I want to build something meaningful with my life. I believe I can only contribute to making a better world if I have the tools to make change possible.

Your contribution would be supporting me to develop these skills, with which I will work to create a better future for myself, my family and the society we live within.

I am a dedicated student and am committed to working hard and excelling when given the chance.

This fundraiser will help me:

- Pay previous university debts and tuition fees

- Continue the remaining two years of my degree

- Cover internet and study-related costs

- Obtain a laptop needed for learning. (my laptop was destroyed in the war)

- Support my brother’s education

I am not asking for comfort. I am asking for a chance. The basic education opportunity I believe all human beings should have access to.
