Hi, my name is Debbie. I am 55 and am asking for help, which is hard for me to do. I've had some injuries this year, and it has put me behind on my rent and I haven't been able to catch up. I need to pay back rent or vacate. I have no way of doing either as my injuries have kept me from being able to pack, and I have no funds to move. I know it's been hard for everyone. I wouldn't ask for help, but I have lived here for 25 years renting, and I have nowhere to go and I don't want to leave my belongings behind. This place has sentimental value to me. My late husband and I moved here 25 years ago with our 8-month-old daughter and my 8-year-old son. This is the last place I lived with my husband as he passed in 2002, and this townhouse is where I raised my two kids by myself. So, besides having nowhere to go if I cannot pay the back rent, it's going to be devastating to leave because of the emotional memories.
