Hi everyone,
My name is Peter Bryan. I live in Alexandria, Virginia and I'm organizing this fundraiser for my dear friends who recently lost their homes in Jamaica during Hurricane Melissa. The storm ravaged the west side of the island and completely destroyed their homes, leaving them without the basic necessities we all take for granted.
If you've ever spent time in Negril and met Gossett (Gussi) and Rozwell (Rozzy), you know they're two of the most generous people you've been blessed to cross paths with. I met Gussi and Rozzy at a boutique hotel around 10 years ago while visiting family and friends in Negril. Since then, every year I visit Negril and our friendship has grown into family.
Gussi is a world-class mixologist who has honed his craft all over the island and abroad and will go out of his way to make sure your palate experiences something it never has before. Rozzy is one of the kindest and most giving individuals I've ever met and always goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable while you're in Jamaica. Since then, they both have become part of our extended family.

Hurricane Melissa has devastated their communities in Jamaica. Both Gossett and Rozzy have experienced significant damage to their homes and the loss of essential belongings. Roofs were torn away, rooms flooded, and the few things that make a house a home, like beds, clothing, food, cell phone service, WiFi connectivity, and tools, were destroyed. Their families need immediate help to rebuild.
We're launching this fundraiser to stand with them the way they've always stood with us.

How your gift will help:
Emergency home repairs (roofing, doors, windows, electrical)
Purchasing generators to provide needed power as Jamaica rebuilds their power grid.
Short-term food, water, and hygiene needs
Basic tools and materials to restore safe living conditions

Transparency & distribution
Every dollar donated will be collected by Peter and used directly to help Gussi and Rozzy secure shelter, essential supplies, and begin rebuilding their homes. We'll provide updates as repairs progress so you can see the impact of your generosity. If funds exceed their immediate needs, the remainder will go toward storm-resilience improvements (e.g., securing roofs, drainage, shutters) to help protect against future hurricanes.

Why this matters
Gussi and Rozzy give their all, rain or shine, so their community and visitors can enjoy all Jamaica has to offer. Today, they need us. Even a small donation goes a long way in Jamaica, and every contribution helps them and their family.
Please donate if you can. If you're not in a position to give, sharing this campaign is a powerful way to help.
From our farm family to yours: thank you for showing Gussi and Rozzy the same kindness they've shown all of us.

Thank you for your kindness and support,

Peter
