We’ve never done this before but we have a little situation. We found out while we were in Florida that Ed might need to get treated for prostate cancer based on a PSA test. So we immediately headed back up north for him to get treated by doctors that know him (since we were not yet established with doctors in Florida). It’s localized, and the way to keep it that way is to have targeted radiation to get rid of the cancer. There is no spread and prognosis is excellent. Here’s the catch…his insurance to date has been wonderful. Today we went to his appointment to get the imaging needed to begin the targeted radiation and it was sprung on us that it would be $600 per week! (He needs 8 weeks of radiation). They offered us a payment plan of $300 per week for 8 weeks followed by $200 per month for 12 months. Neither of which we can afford out of pocket. We got down to Florida, started searching for part time jobs for me, started apartment searching, and then got temporarily derailed. So…where I’m going with this is, and we hate asking this, is: if anyone has anything to spare even if it’s just a dollar, it all adds up. They are working on his plan right now and can get him going in 1-2 weeks from today.

After radiation they said he will be cancer free. Thank you so much we really appreciate it ❤️
