Hello FB Family, I have never created a go fund me page before, so I hope I can do justice to the message I want to get across. This amazing, wonderful woman you are looking at is one of the dearest friends I have ever had. A woman who came to make NM her home. She has been in Española for over 16 years. She is a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Addiction Counselor who became my mentor and is my idol. She has put her heart and soul into her job and has helped SO MANY people struggling in our surrounding communities. Now, I hope that we can help HER in her time of need. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer while visiting her family in New York and will begin treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. My heart breaks for the journey she is about to embark. I watched my brother go through it and I know what is to come. My prayers are that Donna gets through this as best she can. I am begging you all to make a donation to Donna Whitney so she can worry less about what all this is going to cost, and focus more on her emotional wellbeing during this time.
