Hi, My name is Beth Badour, The Kidney Goddess. Recently I was blessed with a new kidney with a transplant at CMC Atrium on 8/26/2022 and learned the week after receiving the transplant. I needed rotator cuff surgery on the left arm that was operated on for the same thing about 13 years ago. Right now, I can not work and rely on disability to pay my many medical bills and copay of $45 every time I go for a doctor's appointment.

I am grateful I received an excellent working kidney this time around. My first one did not work from day one, and they had to remove it in 2021. Now it is time for me to be strong and undergo another surgery. I need your support. You can make a difference in my life and help to give me hope for my future.

I have supported the community by giving back in many ways, including creating a kidney support group on Facebook called Beth's kidney support group, volunteering through the Mental Health Association , Baby Cuddler at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC and volunteering at the National Kidney Foundation.
