Please donate: Levi needs a new heart!

Levi E Nordmeyer, 41, of Greene, Iowa, initially had heart issues in February 2022. After hospitalizations and tests, he collapsed in Auguest 2022, causing the need for a pacemaker and defibrillator. After receiving his pacemaker, he continued to have troubles leading to multiple hospital stays and procedures. His heart issues have continued since that time.

Levi is hospitalized in Rochester, MN. He coded twice over Easter, was intubated to help him breath, and was placed in a drug induced coma. He is currently being processed for placement on the heart transplant list.

Years of heart issues and subsequent treatments have greatly impacted the families financial state. Bills are piling up and the loss of income is adding stress to an already stressful situation. Levi needs the love and support of his family at his bedside. However, due to the lack of funds, these visits may need to be limited.

I have known the Nordmeyer family for over 30 years. They are fine upstanding citizens, active in the community, and willing to help anyone in need. Now they need our help. Any financial gift you can provide would be so appreciated!

We have faith that God will provide a heart for Levi when the time is right for his body to receive it. I especially call on our Christian brother and siters to help meet this financial need as well as for continued prayers and support.
