In Memory of William A. Barry

On Sunday, September 14th 2025, William A. Barry passed away at home after a brave battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

Billy was truly one of a kind — goofy, kindhearted, and always ready to make someone laugh. He had a heart of gold and would have given the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Billy loved deeply and gave that love freely to everyone around him. He will be remembered not just for his strength, but for the joy, warmth, and kindness he shared every day.

My name is Jessica Rowe, and I am setting up this fundraiser as Billy’s dear friend or “niece” as he liked to call me. I had the honor of being by his side through this tragic journey — taking him to his appointments, treatments, and helping keep him organized when things became overwhelming. With little family left, I want to do everything I can to make sure he is laid to rest with dignity and remembered the way he deserves.
