Yesterday at 19:30, our world changed forever.

We lost our brother, our friend, and a truly remarkable man — Stephen “Scaff” Barker.

At just 53 years old, he fought until the very end, showing the same strength and courage that defined his entire life. After a long and difficult battle with heart failure, he finally found peace… but the space he leaves behind is immeasurable.

Stephen wasn’t just a name — he was a presence. A loyal member of Vikings MC for over 20 years, he stood shoulder to shoulder with his brothers through everything life threw his way. His loyalty, his humour, and his unwavering support made him someone you could always count on. If you knew him, you knew exactly what that meant.

Before all that, he served his country as a Para 3 — a role that demands bravery, resilience, and sacrifice. And that’s exactly who he was, right to the core.

But above all else, Stephen was a devoted husband to Martina, his wife of more than two decades. Their love was solid, real, and built on years of shared memories, challenges, and unwavering commitment. Martina hasn’t just lost her husband — she’s lost her partner, her best friend, her everything.

We need to raise money to cover his funeral costs and hopefully give his world and life partner a bit of breathing space whilst she processes this incredibly hard time of grief. No one can take away this pain, but we can help ease the burden that comes with it.
