Hello, my name is LaClesha Anderson, and I am raising funds for the burial of my dear mother. She died unexpectedly on 6/12. The cost of the services and burial will total approximately $7,000.
About my mother:
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not
rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
Ruth led her life with the kind of love that the scripture describes. She taught
each and everyone around her to do the same. Ruth was and will forever be
everything that love is.
Ruth was patient and kind. A mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, a precious gem to all who knew her closely. Ruth took everyone as she found them. She
casted all judgments to the side and instead chose to embrace each person
with a sweet warmth that says, “It’s going to be alright.”
Ruth did not envy or boast. She humbly served God and was a beautiful representation of leading a life like Christ. She embodied all that was good, fulfilling
her job as an angel on Earth and returning to her post in Heaven.
Ruth rejoiced with the truth. Ruth knew the truth—that it was God. She knew
that the truth meant listening and praying for others. That the truth meant
teaching others, even if they were not ready to understand. That the truth
meant compassion.
Ruth bore all things, believed all things, hoped all things, and endured all things. She was a fighter, one who looked not down to defeat, but looked up toGod for victory and believed in Him the whole way. She gracefully moved
through life and all things, leaving everyone around her with no words but
“Amen.”
Ruth was love. Through her eyes, Ruth saw a piece of God in everyone. As we mourn our loss, we will look to see a piece of Ruth in one another. It will serve as a reminder to all of us that Ruth is now with the Most High, alongside those
she loved dearly. Ruth leaves behind one more lesson for us: to lead a life of
love. The kind of love that never ends. Because like Ruth, love will
live on forever and ever. Amen.
On behalf of our family, we are kindly asking for donations to help cover the
cost of my mother's homegoing service. Any amount will truly help the
Anderson family during this difficult time.
