Hi, my name is Isabelle and I'm the childhood best friend of Simone and Marcelo's "other little sister". Marcelo and Simone were raised by very strong, hardworking immigrants who never asked others for help. In addition to grieving the passing of the best big brother on the planet, Simone has been managing the many unexpected costs from Marcelo's hospital stay and transition. When she mentioned she had borrowed against her 401K, I decided to start this campaign to help her.
