Hi my name is Tammy. I’ve had 6 lumbar surgeries and need more extensive ones. As my surgeon messed up my last surgery and I’m still herniated but now I also have scar tissue that they would need to remove and I have severe stenosis there. I am herniated 2 ways and where I’m herniated in the foraminal space it is right on top of nerve roots and where nerves go out the vertebrae through the holes. It’s a very hard spot to get into and not damage the nerves even more and since there is scar tissue and stenosis I’m scared I’ll end up worse if I have another surgery. I also have severe flat back syndrome and was told I need an extensive surgery that holds a 60%-80% chance of complications. It is a very scary surgery and would not address my herniation or severe pain on my feet and legs. I have to use a rotator or walker to walk. My Disability hearing is coming in a week but I’m in desperate need of help so I don’t lose my house and end up on the streets with my two kids. It’s taken 2 yrs to get to the hearing level w out income. I’ve been living on my heloc but that’s gone now. I found out the SSA judge will not have a decision until probably January and so I won’t have any income until spring most likely. I only get $405 a month DHS cash and unfortunately that doesn’t cover much. I really hate to ask for help but I really need it. I’ve always worked and been able to take care of myself so if u know me then you know this is very hard for me to do. If you could share this with friends, church members, or anyone that could help right now I’d appreciate it. I’m in desperate need of help.
