My Momma, Sharon Wignall Waters, passed away last night (Saturday February 17 2024) after a relatively brief battle with an aggressive abdominal cancer. The photo in this was taken around three weeks ago on January 30th 2024 when she had her first chemo treatment. This aggressive cancer was apparently resistant to the chemo. She weakened progressively and rapidly as the cancer stripped her body of essential nutrients, and potassium, magnesium and iron.

She lost her battle last night.

We are thinking we may have a simple burial, followed by a celebration of life ceremony in the Spring. Even simple burials are expensive, and so we wanted to get started asking for help with an amount that seems high enough to where we won't have to try to ask for more help later.
