Hi all, my name is Desiree and we're fundraising for my father-in-law, John Wilson. He's a great father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend! A few days ago, John became ill with flu like symptoms, and a couple of days after he was experiencing excruciating head pain and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He became incoherent, lethargic and could only scream from all the pain he was enduring. John was admitted into the ICU and found he had multiple infections, both in his bloodstream and cerebrospinal fluids. Doctors are amazed with the quick turnaround with his recovery and he currently seems to be on the mend, which is great news for all his family and friends! We're asking for your help with donating towards the medical expenses and home financial support for John while in recovery. John solely supports himself and his wife Pamela, and will be in recovery within the hospital or outpatient care for at minimum 6 weeks. He still has invasive surgery and imaging throughout his time in ICU but we're told he should be released from ICU to general inpatient stay within the next day or so.
