Please donate for a hip replacement

My name is Chris Bilinis and I am raising funds for a hip replacement operation before I become totally unable to walk.

As everyone is well aware, the health service is inundated by patients needing care and operations, and the waiting lists are long. There are waiting list is of 18 months to 2 years for replacement surgery and my hip will not last for much longer. The only recourse open for me to pay for my hip to be replaced on a semi private basis.

I have worked all of my life as a Production Carpenter and never suffered

with any illness until now. It has taken 11 months for the medical profession to find out what is wrong with me, and as a result being unable to work I have used

up all of my savings.

Without this hip replacement I will be confined to my house and eventually be bedridden. I live alone and so will be reliant on carers. Already, on most days I can only walk a few steps, and on my better days I can walk no more that 10 metres. I am in a huge amount of pain day and night.

The funds will be used to pay for the hip replacement surgery, physiotherapy and rehab.

If there are any funds left over, I intend to donate all of them to Blythe House Hospice in Derbyshire.
