Please donate & bring hope to a war stranded family in Gaza

There is an unprecedented amount of Palestinians without food or water. The Sukkar family has opened a hospice for the Palestinian people and will be giving food and water to those in need. All donors will be thanked in a weekly video for their donations. Thank you to everyone who donates.

On a daily basis, water costs $150 and food costs $500 for the entire neighborhood (about 300 people) to use

My name is Ameera Sukkar. The video you see above was our home. On January of 2024 my home was destroyed leaving us stranded in Rafah without sufficient food, water, or shelter for the 22 people living in our family home. These people include 13 children, 3 women, 4 elderly people, and 3 men. These people include my brothers, my 80+ year old in-laws, children, nieces, nephews, and sister-in laws.

This is typical of the struggles of a Palestinian family. Before the war my family ran a local bakery called Bedra in the neighborhood of khanyunis. When the war started we couldn't get flour, then we couldn't supply bread, until finally we had to close the shop. By December, the bakery was destroyed by Isreali bombs.

After the destruction of our bakery, our family took refuge in our home and hoped that we would be safe. By the time January came around our family home was also destroyed by Isreali bombs.

In desperation, our family had no choice but to leave everything we knew and loved behind and move into a garage in Rafah. We share this garage with other people, totaling to more than 40 people living in unsanitary and cramped conditions. Every night for the sake of comfort and room for the women and children, the men sleep in the streets and the women and children sleep inside the garage.

Isreali soldiers forced us all to move out of the garage in March of 2024. Since then we now live in a small tent in the Egyptian border city of tel-sultana in Rafah. The tent does not provide any type of shelter. It leaks when it rains, gets blown away during heavy winds, even going to the only available public bathroom is a struggle due to the long waits and lack of privacy.

Even if the war ends, we have nothing to go back to. We are looking to leave Gaza and start again to regain what we lost during this war. The Egyptian government is currently charging $5000 per person to leave Gaza and enter Egypt through the Rafah border. If you can spare some money we will be forever thankful.

We want to go back to living a happy fulfilled life, so please let us stay alive.

السلام عليكم. انا اسمي أميره سكر الفيديو اللذي تشاهدونه بالأعلى هو كان بيتنا في مدينة حمد بخان يونس. في يناير هذه السنه قام الجيش الاسرائيلي بتفجيره مما جعلنا ننزل إلى رفح من غير اي نوع من الحمايه من أكل فلوس أو ملابس لجميع العائله المكونه من ٢٢ نفر كانوا سكان بيتنا القديم. ال ٢٢ نفر ملونين من ١٣ طفل ٣ نساء ٤ كبار في السن ٣ رجال وهم زوجي واخواني الاثنين وجدتي المعمره أميره اللتي تعدت ال ٨٠ سنه، واولادهم وزوجاتهم.

هذه معاناه طبيعيه للعائلات الفلسطينيه خلال الحرب. قبل الحرب كانت عائلتي تمتلك مخبز في خان يونس. مع بداية الحرب هذا المخبر كان هدف للطائرة الحربيه الاسرائيليه بعدما منعونا من إدارته عن طريق منع الطحين والخبز قاموا بالنهايه بنسف كل البنايه في نهاية السنه الماضيه ٢٠٢٣.

بعد تدمير المخبز قررنا اللجوء للبيت بغرض الحمايه من الحرب وبانتظار نهاية الحرب على أمل البقاء على قيد الحياه. مع بداية السنه الجديده قام الجيش الاسرائيلي بتدمير بيتنا اللذي بالصوره بالأعلى.

فلم يكن لدينا خيار الا النزوح إلى رفح وترك كل شيئ خلفنا كل ما نعشق ونحب تركناه وسكنا مع عائله أخرى مكونه من ٢٩ شخص داخل مستودع في مدينه رفح جنوب قطاع غزه. فاصبحنا ٤٠ شخص داخل هذا الكراج الغير مجهز للسكن الآدمي ولا حتى ل ٤٠ حيوان. في كل ليله من أجل الراحه والمساحة يذهب الرجال للنوم خارج المستودع في الشارع حتى يتسنى للنساء والأطفال مكان للنوم داخل المستودع.

ومع ذلك الجيش الصهيوني اجبرنا على النزوح مره اخرى مع بداية الربيع مما اتطرنا للسكن في خيمه صغيره تل سلطانه في رفح على الحدود مع جمهورية مصر العربيه. هذه الخيمه لا تحمينا من مطر أو رياح أو برد حتى اعزكم الله الذهاب إلى الحمام الوحيد مشكله بحد ذاته حيث انك لازم تنتظر ربما إلى ساعات لاستعماله.

حتى لو حصل ان توقفت الحرب فلا يوجد شيئ لتعود إليه لا عمل لا سكن لا ملابس لا عفش.

نحن نتطلع للرحيل من غزه وإن نبدأ من البدايه لعلنا نرجع بعض ما فقدناه خلال الحرب. الحكومه المصريه في معبر رفح تطلب تنسيق بمبلغ 5.000$ للشخص لكي يستطيع الخروج من غزه خلال المعبر. اذا كان باستطاعتك المساعده باي مبلغ ولو بسيط نكون شاكرين ومقدرين مساعدتك ونرجوا من الله ان تكون صدقه في ميزان حسناتكم. نحن شعب يحب الحياه . فارجوكم ساعدونا كي نبقى احياء.
