This weekend benefit festival in Copiah County, Mississippi, showcases 6 Genres of music performed live by 6 Feature Performers and 6 Headliners.

THE Robert Johnson Blues & Mississippi Music FESTIVAL is hoped to become an annual event but it has to start sometime so why not May 8-10, 2026, in Hazlehurst, MS -- his birthplace.

After all, May 8th is legendary bluesman Robert Johnson's birthday and the goal of the festival is to raise money to help support efforts of The Robert Johnson Foundation and The Robert Johnson Museum to materialize their dream of constructing The Robert Johnson Blues Park in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

Event Organizer is raising $284,700 to assure the festival happens with everything is at the level worthy of the name, and all 12 acts are able to be hired for their services to guarantee we will have great music constantly flowing.
