I am writing this on behalf of Jim and Shirley. Jim has come such a long way in his battle with Multiple Myeloma. We recently had lunch with Jim and Shirley and Jim is just as feisty as ever! They still have a long road ahead of them and are facing more battles in the near future. As Jim continues on his road to remission, they are facing insurmountable medical bills and medication costs. Shirley wrote "After the first of the year Jim and I will have to meet the third deductible on his insurance in the last seven months because of having to switch companies. Jim is on 24 different prescriptions which we will have to pay for until our deductible is met one of which is $800 alone. I know all to well how expensive things are nowadays for everyone but if anyone would like to help us with his upcoming medication cost we will be forever grateful.
