Hi my name is Johni Hamilton. This fundraiser is for my sister Ali, brother in law Kief, and their 4 year old daughter. They all suffered great losses Friday August 18th when the Oregon fire in Elk WA burned through their property. Miraculously their house still stands but the family business and Kiefs life work is completely devastated. Northern Flowers or what many of you know as The Plant Man started out 20+ years ago selling plants out of the back of a pickup truck in an empty parking lot where the Newport McDonald's now sits. Their property is the base of the entire business where most of the plants are grown and propagated. Some of the major losses of the business include 5 commercial greenhouses, 2 houses with plants ready to sell, pump houses, pressure tanks, irrigation systems, all fertilizer and injection systems were lost along with so much more. They are also unsure if wells will be usable.
