The Bilichak Family Needs Help

Hello. My name is Alex and I am fundraising for my amazing coworker, Ilona and her husband Mike.

Ilona is the most patient, positive, and loving person I know, her and Mike have two beautiful children together.

On Tuesday November 30th a horrible accident took place where Ilona was ran over by a truck. She was rushed to the hospital where we learned the extent of her injuries. We found out she had 7 broken ribs, a broken hip, a fractured shoulder, and an injury to her jaw.

Ilona underwent jaw surgery on the evening of Thursday December 2nd. On the way to the hospital to be with his wife before and after surgery, Mike was involved in a hit in run where a car ran a red-light, T-boned him on the driver’s side missing his door by inches. Luckily the kids weren’t with him and a passing police officer took up the report. As of now, there is no information on who hit him, but their only family vehicle was totaled in the crash.

We were able to speak with Ilona Dec. 7th where we found out the truck did run over her head, to say she is alive is an understatement. She is extremely strong and positive. But she has a long road of recovery ahead of her with a lot of changes coming after, for herself and her family.

These funds will be put towards medical bills, a new family car, household bills, and anything the children need as well as Christmas presents.

Any donation big or small is appreciated and will be a tremendous help for the Bilichak family and a relief for Ilona so she can focus on her recovery and her family.
