My brother Larry Sullivan and his family fled the "camp" fire in Magalia, California just in time.  He is a single parent with one daughter working her way through college and four sons at home.  He lost nearly everything, including his work truck (with all of his tools) that was broken at the time and could not be driven out. 

Like many people in the that area, he was not able to get homeowners insurance on the home that he bought about three years ago due to insurers' unwillingness to write policies for certain areas after a fire that occurred in 2008.  I'm sending as much money as I can scrape up, but it is not going to be enough.  Please consider helping if you can. 



Larry has been set up as the beneficiary and has begun drawing funds, using them for food, clothing, setting up temporary housing, as well as trying to save for a replacement work truck.  Larry's detailed account of what he and others went through on the day of the fire is detailed in the second and third update in this campaign.  It is terrifying and worth reading.  Thank you, and please consider donating to others as well.
