My name is Jennifer Neyra, and I am one of Hannah's best friends. I have created this GoFundMe with permission from Hannah herself. She is in desperate need of help and I know we can help her. She is in a situation where she can no longer afford housing or her bills and needs our support. Below is some background of what is going on:

As some of you may know, Hannah is a single mom raising a beautiful 1 1/2-year-old daughter named Amara on her own. Unlike a lot of single parents out there, Hannah does not have the luxury of leaning on one of her own parents for support during this difficult time of need, as she lost both of her parents a couple of years ago. Not having that support system is extremely hard for a first-time Mother, especially a single mother like Hannah.

Hannah has lived her entire life helping others and always thinking of others first before herself in any situation. It's now our turn to help Hannah. She is more than deserving of this and if you can, please consider even donating a $1. Every little bit helps.

I plan to give Hannah the money we raise here for paying her bills, getting her housing, and looking into child care for Amara so she can start working to get financially stable again. I believe the 10k I hope to raise for her will do this for her.

To my family, friends that became family, and colleagues who felt like family, I am asking for your support in a time of great need. I want to get back on my own two feet but feel overwhelmed with the challenges placed before me.

Here’s the backstory:

April 2020, I quit my job as an Advocate for Victims, a job that I loved dearly. I realized I needed time to decompress and process the things that happened in my life and set my intentions to pursue a self-employed path of healing victims of trauma through holistic care.

May 2020, I realized I was pregnant and planned to embrace this opportunity of becoming a Mother. Due to a complicated pregnancy, and then a relentless search for a forever home to raise my daughter, I paused my work towards self-healing and self-employment.

July 2022… I am in a mental struggle daily trying to release negative emotional patterns, while trying my best to be a conscious and gentle parent to my child. I recognize that I haven’t been a kind human trying to regain my self-worth and inner-peace. I have eliminated myself from family trying to sincerely heal the wounded parts of myself. I am struggling to get my business launched with limited physical and emotional support. And my inner critic continues trying to beat me down.

Today, I am asking for help in the form of prayer and finances. If you are able to spend a couple minutes a day sending positive encouragement, or able to help cover a bill, or two, I would be forever grateful.
