Hello friends and family, I'm creating this on behalf of my brother Deven.

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and asking for your help. Deven Kinder is in need of an aortic heart valve replacement. If you could please take a moment to read and consider donating or sharing to help.

Deven was born with an aortic bicuspid valve which has slowly worsened over the last 23 years. On Thursday, August 8th, 2024, Deven took a trip to the Emergency room for swollen eyes and a rash, leaving with news that he was not expecting until at least his mid 30's - that his heart valve needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Deven's condition has deteriorated to the point of 100% regurgitation, a stretching heart, and an enlarged aorta. The surgery is critical and time-sensitive, and while Deven has insurance, it doesn't cover all the medical expenses, including post-operative medication and rehabilitation.

Deven is unable to return to work due to his current physical condition and his job is physically demanding- he is a roofer/ contractor. He will need to continue to pay his bills for his family from now until he is recovered.

We are aiming to raise $50,000 to cover the costs of the surgery, hospital stays, medications, and any other related expenses. Every dollar counts and will make a significant difference in Deven's journey to recovery.
